General Maintenance Worker
Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled General Maintenance and Repair
Worker to join our team.
This role involves conducting regular inspections,
performing routine maintenance tasks, and carrying out repairs on our
facilities’ machinery, equipment, and infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will be well-versed in various
maintenance processes and health and safety regulations.
Their central goal is to ensure that our facilities and
equipment are always in a good and safe condition.
- Responsibilities
- Inspecting buildings, machinery, and equipment periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance
- Performing routine and preventive maintenance tasks
- Repairing or replacing broken equipment parts
- Conducting maintenance of electrical, plumbing, ventilation, and other building systems
- Ensuring adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
- Maintaining maintenance records and reporting to upper management regularly
- Qualifications
- Experience in general maintenance and repair work
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and evenings
- High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance, technology, or relevant field will be a plus
