Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Training Manager needed!

Tropical Smoothie Cafe is looking for a Training Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the training and staff development for 4 Tropical Smoothie Cafe locations in the Las Vegas market. You will learn and provide input for improving the existing operational standards and ensure that those standards are maintained through the proper execution of all aspects of day-to-day operations. This is a supervisory role, leading a staff ranging from 80-100 employees across 4 locations and reporting directly to the ownership group and Director of Operations.

Responsibilities:

• Thorough and ongoing understanding of evolving operational standards.
• Training management, leads, and crew in all relevant job functions to their position.
• Evaluations of staff to aid in assessing hiring needs and to focus improving employee's performance.
• Providing an on-site presence to create accountability and foster a positive work culture across all locations.
• Training in the creation and management of scheduling templates to meet labor goals.
• Overseeing and assisting store management with administrative roles and human resource management.
• Leading from the front by providing a support role in day-to-day cafe operations as needed.
• Ensuring that Tropical Smoothie Cafe brand standards are maintained and enforced, including staff uniform/appearance standards, food safety protocols, and store cleanliness.
• Guiding staff toward a constantly improving customer service experience through monitoring and responding to customer reviews to identify areas of service that need the most attention.
• Assisting in maintaining detailed staff records including onboarding documentation, training certifications and corrective action notices.
• Aid in hiring process by conducting scheduled interviews and scheduling training for new employees.
• Performing regular inspections specific to food safety, cleanliness, staff efficiency and that food and smoothie items are made to recipe using the proper portions.
• Working with store management to ensure food cost goals are met through proper ordering and maintaining accurate par levels for prep and ordering.

Job Type: Full-Time, Salaried $45,000-$55,000 per year

Strongly prefer candidates with at least 1-2 years prior food service management experience.

Prior experience in fast food/QSR
