Service Department Adviser (Service Writer/Advisor) — Triumph Columbia River

At Triumph Columbia River, motorcycles aren't just what we sell—they're what we live. We're looking for an experienced Service Writer / Advisor to help deliver an outstanding ownership experience for our customers while keeping our busy service department organized, productive, and customer-focused.

This is not an entry-level counter position. We are looking for someone with real-world service department experience, strong metric motorcycle knowledge, and the ability to keep a shop running efficiently without unnecessary drama or excuses.

  • Create estimates for internal, customer-pay, and wreck repairs
  • Open and close customer-pay, warranty, and internal repair orders
  • Follow OEM warranty procedures and maintain proper documentation
  • Support parts coordination by verifying correct part numbers and helping ensure jobs are ready before service begins
  • Operate efficiently in Dealer DMS, CRM, and OEM systems

Customer Service

  • Deliver excellent customer service with professionalism and confidence
  • Greet customers promptly and communicate clearly in person, over the phone, and through email/text
  • Keep customers informed throughout the repair process—even when there are delays or no major updates
  • Handle complaints and difficult situations with a calm, solutions-focused attitude
  • Recommend maintenance and additional services when appropriate
  • Pay close attention to repeat repairs and help ensure issues are fully resolved

What We’re Looking For

  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Professional, direct, no-BS attitude with strong follow-through

  • Current motorcycle endorsement required
