Shift: 6:30am - 2pm / 2pm-10pm

The Delivery Driver Team Member will be part of the Chick-fil-A Royal Oak family and expected to represent the restaurant with the highest integrity, enthusiasm and excellent service. You must execute Chick-fil-A hospitality with our guests in a caring way, while in the restaurant and delivering food. Clear and excellent communication skills via our delivery app are required to help us meet guest’s expectations outside of the restaurant.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers when entering and leaving the premises
- Follow safe driving procedures
- Manage transactions using Delivery App
- Serve guests via Delivery
- Ensure a clean and organized delivery vehicle
- Bag and wrap purchased goods for safe transport
- Ensure packaging, food presentation and quality is excellent for customer experience
- Display care and a sense of personal responsibility to the success of your role
- Create and maintain eye contact
- Speak enthusiastically
- Make emotional connections with guest
- Proactively serve team and guest
- Honor and encourage others to follow the vision and values of the restaurant

Requirements
Applicants must:
- Have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- 18 years old (minimum)
- Must have a valid State-Issued Driver’s License
- Must own reliable transportation that is CLEAN
- Valid car insurance
- Clean driving record for the past 2 years
- Reliable communication (must have iphone to download compatible delivery app)
- No current/within the last year License suspension
- Drive safe and obey the rules of the road
- Work as a team member in the restaurant when there are no deliveries
- Be reliable and punctual

- Ability to multitask quickly, yet thoroughly
- Team-oriented, adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethic
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Work standing feet for several hours at a time
- Have the ability to communicate effectively in English
- Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule
- Have the ability to lift and carry 10-65 lbs.
- Be able to respond to changes or edits to orders quickly and efficiently
- Work well under pressure, independently, and in a team environment
- Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times

Experience:
- Driving: 1 year (Preferred)
- Delivery driver: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
