Responsible for taking orders and entering them into our system either through the phone, walk-ins, or drive-thru. Front Crew members also do some basic food prep like making salads and boxing up orders. Learning to do all of this effectively should take about a week.
Cashier Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified and responsible cashier to manage all transactions with our customers efficiently and accurately and to maintain the the cleanliness of the dining area and restrooms.
The cashier we would like to employ must be able to interact with our customers in a friendly manner, and provide assistance should any customer require it. Excellent communication skills are critical to help us continue to delight our customers and provide them with an outstanding experience. They must have the ability to operate with a sense of urgency to ensure order promise times are met.
A qualified candidate must also be able to follow instructions and be a successful member of our team. Previous experience is an advantage, and solid math and multitasking skills are a must.
Responsibilities of a Cashier:
- Greet every customer phone, walkin & drive-thru customer
- Thank all customers at the completion of their transaction
- Managing transactions using a cash register
- Making sure pricing is accurate
- Following company policy when taking and handing out orders, and when applying coupons and discounts
- Balancing the cash register
- Accepting payments in cash, credit or check
- Providing accurate change and receipts
- Activating gift cards
- Resolving or escalating customer complaints
- Boxing pizzas and bagging and wrapping customer orders for safe transport
- Maintaining FOH cleanliness of dining area and restrooms
- Assisting with BOH cleaning and dishes
- Upselling and cross-selling when appropriate
Cashier Job Requirements:
- High school diploma preferred
- Experience with POS systems and cash registers
- Basic computer knowledge
- Good math skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to effectively resolve complaints
