Our newly expanded and remodeled restaurant is known for its great food and hospitality. As a Kitchen Chef, you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and contribute to the overall excellence of our establishment.
Main Responsibilities of a Cook:
- Preparing workstations, cooking ingredients, and kitchen equipment for cooking.
- Cooking and arranging food.
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Kitchen Chef to join our kitchen staff. As a team player, you will follow instructions and help us delight our customers with delicious food from our menu. Attention to detail, excellent communication, and organizational skills are paramount in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a sanitized and well-organized kitchen.
- Preparing workstations for cooking.
- Preparing and maintaining kitchen equipment.
- Checking the quality of the ingredients.
- Preparing cooking ingredients using various techniques.
- Cooking food using various culinary techniques.
- Arranging food and ensuring appealing presentation.
- Managing food storage, stock, and ingredient orders.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a cook.
- Skilled in operating kitchen equipment.
- Proficient in various cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of and adherence to sanitation procedures.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and act quickly.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
