Cook / Line Cook (Morning Prep & Service)
My Father’s Barbeque – Carson, CA
Pay: $22–$24/hr + tip share
We are hiring a strong, reliable cook for a morning shift position at My Father’s Barbeque.
This is not an entry-level role. You must be able to prep efficiently, cook consistently, and have the kitchen ready for service by opening time.
What You’ll Do:
- Prep ingredients and recipes for the day
- Cook and prepare food so kitchen is ready by opening (10:30 AM)
- Execute BBQ meats and sides with consistency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked station
- Work with urgency to stay ahead of service
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years kitchen experience (BBQ, grill, or prep preferred)
- Able to move fast and stay focused in a busy kitchen
- Reliable and on time — no late arrivals
- Can work independently without constant direction
- Strong work ethic and team mindset
Schedule:
- Morning shift (start around 8:00–8:30 AM)
- Must be ready for service by 10:30 AM
- Weekend availability required
