What You'll Do:
- Lead by example, living our Paw Print core values every day
- Partner with the Store Team Leader to train, coach, and develop team members
- Drive performance in neighbor engagement, sales, and overall store operations
- Accurately complete reports, paperwork, and POS transactions
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment, ensuring animals are well cared for and policies are followed
- Support community engagement by building partnerships with local rescue groups and charities
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new team members
What We're Looking For:
- Genuine passion for pets with interest in pet care and nutrition
- Strong communication and leadership skills with attention to detail
- 2+ years of retail experience in a leadership role
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to safely operate all store equipment (including forklift)
