Responsibilities
- Perform accurate diagnostics and repairs on GM vehicles
- Complete routine maintenance, warranty work, and safety inspections
- Work with service advisors to communicate repair needs and timelines
- Follow all manufacturer and dealership procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Complete ongoing GM training and certifications
Requirements
- GM Certification Required
- 3+ years of technician experience in a dealership
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to acquire ASE certifications
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team
- Experience with the latest automotive technologies and working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, A/C equipment, etc.
- Reliable with good work ethic and problem-solving skills
- A positive attitude and works well as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
