Toyota Service Advisor

Responsibilities  

  • Provide customers with a seamless Toyota service experience by maintaining clear and consistent communication from appointment scheduling through final check-out—before, during, and after their visit. 
  • Greet service customers and inspect their vehicle. 
  • Inform service customers about recommended and required maintenance, including estimated time and costs. Assist them in prioritizing repairs based on safety and urgency, while educating them on Toyota’s suggested maintenance schedule. 
  • Initiate the diagnosis process by asking the customer appropriate and relevant questions about their vehicle concerns and performing a visual inspection or road test. 
  • Monitor the status of repairs throughout the service process. Communicate promptly with customers about any updates to estimates or completion times, clearly explain associated costs and time requirements, and obtain proper authorization before proceeding with any additional work. 
  • Work closely with shop foreman, technicians, and parts department to ensure work is done efficiently and accurately, meeting Toyota brand and dealership standards.  
  • Upon completion of work, review the work order with the customer to ensure all concerns are addressed. 
  • Answer service phone calls and address customer concerns. 
  • Schedule service appointments. 
  • Receive and document customer complaints. Communicate with customers professionally, coordinate investigation and resolution.  
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction scores and provide a completely satisfying customer experience. 
  • Maintain clean workspace and professional appearance.   
  • Complete training as assigned by Toyota and dealer.  
  • Other tasks as assigned.  

Qualifications  

  • Customer service experience (Required) 
  • Dealership experience not required  
  • General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations 
  • Familiarity with Toyota product lineup is a plus, including Camry, Corolla, Crown, Prius, bZ4X, RAV4, Highlander, Grand Highlander, 4Runner, Land Cruiser, Sienna, Tacoma, and Tundra  
  • Reliable with a good work ethic and problem-solving skills 
  • Team player with a positive attitude  
  • Computer skills  
  • Professional appearance 
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (Required)  
  • Pre-employment screening required: candidates must successfully pass a drug screening and background check, as well as provide two forms of government ID

This position pays weekly. Rewarding pay is based on knowledge, skill, and experience. 


Schedule  

Schedule is determined to meet company needs. Employees work five days/week, no Sundays. Lunch is provided for employees working on Saturdays.  

Toyota Service department hours are:  

  • Monday – Friday: 7:30am – 6pm  
  • Saturday: 8am – 3pm
