Responsibilities
- Help customers select, test drive, and purchase their vehicle.
- Greet customers and identify the type of vehicle that meets their needs.
- Facilitate test drives and walkarounds while highlighting key features and innovations.
- Present pricing, explain financing options, and complete paperwork, staying current with factory national and regional incentives, as well as dealership promotions.
- Follow up with existing customers to encourage repeat and referral business.
- Prospect for new customers.
- Maintain reporting structures and recording sales and inventory.
- Collaborate with team members to reach sales targets.
- Assist with the setup of showroom and promotional displays.
- Maintain clean workspace and professional appearance.
- Complete training as assigned by dealer and manufacturer.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Automotive sales experience (Preferred)
- Customer service experience (Preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
- Energetic and outgoing 'people person’ that's motivated to succeed and thrives in fast-paced environment
- Excellent and professional communication skills
- Reliable with a good work ethic and problem-solving skills
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Professional appearance
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (Required)
- Pre-employment screening required: candidates must successfully pass a drug screening and background check, as well as provide two forms of government ID

Schedule
Schedule is determined to meet Vann York Nissan's needs. Employees work five days/week, no Sundays. Lunch is provided for employees working on Saturdays.
Sales department hours are:
- Monday – Friday: 9am – 7pm
- Saturday: 9am – 6pm
