A Day in the life at Goody Goody Liquor as a Warehouse Transfer Delivery Driver: Your job is to provide internal support by moving and delivering product between local Goody Goody facilities to ensure proper stock levels as designated by the company.
Job Duties:
1. Accurately and efficiently breakdown, palletize and transfer out product from warehouse to retail stores.
2. Assist with warehouse duties; including but not limited to stocking and keeping the warehouse clean and organized.
3. Move product between all local Goody Goody locations, including Houston and Longview regions as needed.
4. Assist with other in-store projects as assigned.
5. Be safety oriented by following all known safety procedures and utilizing good operational, loss prevention and safety judgment at all times.
6. Load, unload, and move product repetitively using appropriate equipment.
7. Be accountable for the truck, all merchandise and documents related to the truck/delivery.
8. Check the truck in and out daily according to procedure and keep maintenance records as required.
Job Requirements:
1. Acceptable MVR and valid driver’s license: No reckless driving, DWI/DUI, and no more than two minor traffic incidents in the last three years.
2. Must be a minimum 21 years of age.
3. Willingness to work well with supervisor and coworkers in a fast paced team environment.
4. High School Diploma or equivalent.
5. Ability to read, count, write and communicate in English.
6. Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to fulfill job duties including pallet jacks, forklifts, dolly, stand up picker.
7. Willingness to work a flexible schedule to include a combination of mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays (We are closed Sundays!)
Physical Requirements: Must be able to drive a motor vehicle. Must be able to walk and stand for the duration of the shift (up to 8 hours). Must be able to stoop, bend, grasp, and perform repetitive motions. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds without assistance. Must be able to move large quantities of merchandise with carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other moving equipment. Some stair and ladder climbing may be required.
