What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of restaurant experience, including cooking
- Supervisory experience required
- Ability to work 8–10 hour shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to learn, teach, and support the team
- Hospitality‑driven mindset
- ServSafe Food Manager Certification preferred
- Experience in high‑volume, fast‑paced kitchens strongly preferred
What You’ll Do as Assistant Kitchen Manager
- Prepare food to order with consistency, speed, and quality
- Perform opening and closing kitchen duties
- Execute food prep, cooking, crepe spinning, and cleaning
- Follow all sanitation and safety procedures
- Use recipes and portion control to maintain standards
- Balance high volume with high quality
- Participate in ongoing training and development
- Work collaboratively with the entire team
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Serve as a key holder; open and/or close the restaurant
- Support, train, and supervise team members
- Cover Assistant General Manager duties on days off
- Perform cash operations and ensure accurate financial transactions
- Support kitchen and dining room operations as needed
- Assist with inventory, specials rollouts, and ordering
- Help the team meet or exceed financial and profitability goals
