The Skinny Pancake is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our high‑visibility University of Vermont location. This is a unique opportunity to run a beloved campus restaurant with the support of a seasoned Operations and HR team — while still having the autonomy to shape your own culture, systems, and success.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead daily operations with a focus on hospitality, quality, and efficiency
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high‑performing team
- Build a positive, inclusive workplace culture
- Manage financial performance, inventory, ordering, and scheduling
- Ensure smooth service during peak campus hours
- Strengthen relationships with UVM partners and the broader Burlington community
- Uphold our mission of local sourcing and sustainable practices
What You Bring:
- 3+ years of restaurant management experience (GM or AGM level)
- A leadership style rooted in empathy, accountability, and communication
- Strong operational skills — you know how to run a tight ship
- A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
- Ability to coach, motivate, and develop a diverse team
- Comfort working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
