The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily

operations at Margaux Brasserie, with a primary focus on leading the team to

deliver exceptional guest service that reflects our fine dining standards. This

role ensures the seamless coordination between the front-of-house and

back-of-house teams while maintaining high performance in financial,

operational, and personnel objectives.


Key Responsibilities

Guest Service Leadership

  • Champion a culture of hospitality and service excellence, ensuring each guest enjoys a memorable, elevated experience.
  • Lead by example on the floor, modeling gracious, attentive, and knowledgeable service.
  • Handle guest concerns and special requests with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Train and coach the team in fine dining service standards, etiquette, and guest engagement.

Team Management & Development

  • Recruit, hire, and retain top talent; build a motivated and high-performing team.
  • Provide clear direction, support, and ongoing coaching to management and hourly staff.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback for continuous improvement
  • Foster a collaborative and respectful work environment aligned with Margaux’s values.

Operations & Financial Oversight

  • Ensure smooth daily operations, including reservations, floor plans, pacing, and shift execution.
  • Monitor and control labor, inventory, and operating costs in alignment with financial goals.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Bar Manager to maintain product quality and consistency.
  • Uphold cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health department and company standards.

Strategic & Brand Alignment

  • Act as a brand ambassador for Margaux Brasserie both internally and externally.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance guest experience, refine service, and innovate offerings.
  • Support marketing efforts, special events, and community engagement initiatives.
