Catering Driver
Job Description
Chick-fil-A Keller & Chick-fil-A N. Tarrant Parkway
Pay: $18/hr • Status: Part-Time • Reports to: Catering Director / AD
Schedule Needs: Mostly daytime, occasional evenings, required Saturday availability.
Role Summary
The Catering Driver supports our restaurants by delivering high-quality catered meals, ensuring accurate order setup, and providing exceptional service to business, school, nonprofit, and community clients. This role also assists with transportation needs between restaurant locations and urgent ride support for team members.
Primary Responsibilities
Catering & Guest Service
- Deliver catering orders safely, on time, and with exceptional hospitality.
- Pack, verify, and stage catering orders for accuracy and presentation.
- Set up catering displays on-site (tables, trays, utensils, beverages, etc.).
- Communicate professionally with clients and represent Chick-fil-A with excellence.
- Follow all food safety and temperature guidelines.
Driving & Transportation Duties
- Deliver orders between Keller and N. Tarrant restaurant locations (products, food, equipment, etc.).
- Assist team members with transportation to/from work during approved emergency situations (Uber for Business benefit coordination or in-person pickup if applicable).
- Transport products for returns, warranty claims, donations, and shipping tasks as assigned.
- Maintain a clean delivery vehicle and report any mechanical concerns immediately.
Operational Support
- Assist the Catering Director or Leader on Duty during large events or high-volume catering days.
- Support the restaurant team when not on an active delivery (packing, staging, loading, cleaning).
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and follow all safety protocols.
Requirements
- Must be 25 years or older (required for insurance and driving eligibility).
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience (delivery, logistics, or similar preferred).
- Flexible and open availability, primarily daytime; occasional evenings.
- Saturday availability required.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and manage multiple deliveries calmly.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Professional, dependable, and committed to Chick-fil-A standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior catering, delivery, or hospitality experience.
- Experience interacting with business clients or large groups.
- Strong organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
