Location: Andy’s Ace Hardware – M&M Plaza, Marinette, WI
Schedule: Full-time | Nights and weekends required on a rotating basis

We’re looking for a hands-on, people-first leader to join us as a Manager on Duty. In this role, you’ll help guide daily store operations, support our team, and ensure every customer leaves with what they need—and a great experience.

What You’ll Do
- Lead daily store operations with a focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction
- Support customers in-store and online, offering helpful solutions and product knowledge
- Supervise and coach team members to meet goals and follow store procedures
- Delegate tasks and maintain high standards for merchandising and store appearance
- Provide real-time feedback and conduct performance evaluations
- Execute merchandising updates and seasonal displays
- Plan and support in-store promotions, events, and community campaigns
- Champion helpful, friendly service—observe and coach team members to deliver it consistently
- Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally
- Monitor inventory reports to reduce shrink and maintain accurate stock levels
- Promote a safe, clean, and organized store environment
- Conduct safety and fire inspections and take corrective action when needed
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ year of leadership experience in retail or customer service
- Strong communication skills—clear, respectful, and confident
- Ability to lead by example and motivate a team
- Organized, dependable, and solution-oriented
- Comfortable using basic retail systems and tools
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor
- Valid in-state driver’s license with a clean driving record
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs. intermittently for up to 8 hours shifts.
- Comfortable with physical tasks like stocking, moving displays, and cleaning
