At Chick-fil-A Orland Park, being a Food Trailer Team Member is more than just a job—it’s an opportunity to serve our community beyond the walls of our restaurant.


Our Food Trailer Team Members serve guests at locations beyond the restaurant through our Chick-fil-A Food Trailer. This is a guest-service position based at the Food Trailer; Team Members are not responsible for driving or towing the trailer.


This unique part-time position is ideal for college students, parents, individuals looking for a second job, or anyone looking for a consistent part-time schedule.


Pay: $15–$17/hour

Hours: Approximately 15–20 hours per week

Shift Options

Day Shift: 8:45 AM–2:00 PM

Night Shift: 7:30 PM–11:30 PM


New Team Members will complete approximately two weeks of training before transitioning into their regular Food Trailer role:

Week 1: Training at Chick-fil-A Orland Park to learn our culture, values, service standards, and operating expectations.

Week 2: Hands-on training on the Food Trailer to learn the specific responsibilities and systems of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Serve guests with a great attitude and friendly smile
  • Take orders and complete transactions
  • Provide fast, friendly, and accurate service
  • Prepare the Food Trailer for each service period
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
  • Restock products and supplies as needed
  • Move with a sense of urgency during busy service periods
  • Follow Chick-fil-A food safety and operational standards
  • Work effectively as part of a small team
  • Represent Chick-fil-A Orland Park and our values while serving throughout the community

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel from Chick-fil-A Orland Park to the Food Trailer service location
  • When a Team Member uses their personal vehicle for required travel from the restaurant to the Food Trailer service location, mileage will be reimbursed at the applicable IRS standard mileage rate
  • Team Members are not responsible for driving the Food Trailer
  • Must have consistent availability for either the Day Shift or Night Shift
  • Must be dependable and punctual
  • Must be comfortable working as part of a small team with less direct supervision
  • Must work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
  • Must be comfortable working in hot, cold, noisy, and fast-paced environments
  • Mobility is required throughout the shift; ability to lift 15+ lbs.
  • Must be able to respond to guest questions, requests, and needs with speed and a positive attitude
