Essential Skills and Experience:
- Event Planning & Coordination: Proven ability to plan, organize, and execute events, from concept to completion, ensuring every detail contributes to a seamless experience.
- Teamwork & Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and collaborate with diverse teams, ensuring events are executed effectively.
- Community Engagement: Passion for connecting with the local community and building relationships to promote the restaurant and foster goodwill.
- Main Point of Contact: Act as the primary liaison for community members and organizations seeking to host or collaborate on events with the restaurant.
- Customer Service Excellence: Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, ensuring all guest interactions are positive and professional.
- Restaurant Operations Knowledge: Familiarity with restaurant workflows, logistics, and service standards to integrate events seamlessly into daily operations.
- Event Budgeting: Ability to create, manage, and track budgets to ensure events are cost-effective while delivering value.
- Fundraiser Coordination: Experience in planning and executing fundraising events that engage the community and support local causes.
- Holiday & Themed Events: Creativity and experience in organizing festive and themed events that align with seasonal trends and community interests.
- Team Member Events: Capability to plan and coordinate internal team events that enhance staff morale and engagement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in event management software or tools.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
