The shift manager is responsible for day to day operations which include intentional customer service, thoughtful team management, and completing essential restaurant tasks such as cleaning, guest recovery, and money management, plus so much more. You will have the direct support of the other leaders around you, including the restaurant owner, who will provide essential leadership development and will challenge you to be the best leader you can be. Team Leader Responsibilities:
- Leading day-to-day operations in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant
- Offer immediate and respectful response to guest needs
- Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
- Be a friendly, encouraging team player
- Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder
- Communicate clearly and swiftly, both written and spoken
- Be a pillar of culture for our restaurant
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong people skills with a desire to serve guests and team members
- Strong commitment to superior customer service
- Ability to manage team member behavior and performance issues
- Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility
- Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, restaurant assistant manager is not required but is preferred.
