Job Description – Lead CNA

At Home Helpers, we recognize that caregiving is one of the most meaningful and impactful roles in our community. We value and support our caregivers, and our Lead CNA plays a key role in mentoring, training, and supporting our caregiving team.
Required Schedule
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM (required)
- Every other weekend on-call: 7:00 AM-10:00 PM (required)
- Occasional coverage may be required as late as 10:00 PM
Applicants must be able to reliably work this weekday schedule, as it is essential to supporting caregiver training, onboarding, and daily operations.

Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate caregiver training
- Assist with training in the office and in clients’ homes
- Introduce new caregivers to clients
- Fill in as a caregiver when needed
- Assist with in-office projects as assigned
- Cover shifts or be on-call every other weekend as needed

- Physical ability to perform caregiving tasks (assisting with mobility, repositioning in bed, balance support, etc.)
Requirements
- Current CNA license
- Minimum of 2 years of caregiving experience preferred
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Ability to work independently
- Reliable attendance record
