Home Helpers Home Care – Part-Time Standby Caregiver (Paid Training + Daily Stipend + Hourly Pay)

We have an immediate opening for Part-Time Standby Caregivers at Home Helpers Home Care!
This is a unique opportunity to earn a daily stipend just for being available!
In this role, you’ll be on call during designated hours, and if you’re matched with a client, you’ll receive an hourly wage in addition to your daily stipend.
Standby Hours:
- Weekdays: Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM–10:00 PM
OR
- Weekends: Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 AM–10:00 PM

Responsibilities:
- Be available and prepared to assist clients during your on-call shift
- Help clients live safely and independently at home
- Assist with daily tasks like meal prep, light housekeeping, hygiene, transfers, errands, and companionship
- Monitor clients for safety or health concerns and communicate with the care team
What You Need to Succeed:
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- A kind, patient, and compassionate attitude
- Willingness to learn through paid training
- Ability to assist with physical tasks (e.g., rolling in bed, transferring)
- Previous caregiving experience is a plus, but not required—we’ll train you!
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Able to pass a comprehensive 40-year background check and drug test (including APS and CPS screening)
- Dependable and able to work independently
