Positional Overview:
The Marketing Director oversees and demonstrates ownership for our overall brand growth, which is established through relationships in our community. They embody the values of Chick-fil-A and serve as a restaurant and brand ambassador. They must demonstrate creativity, with a strong ability to think strategically in the planning and implementation of marketing initiatives and promotions. They must have a growth mindset.
General Duties & Responsibilities:
- Plans for and ensures Emotional Connections Marketing initiatives happen daily
- Orders, tracks, and/or requests all need marketing material
- Ensures real food is being leveraged through sampling, promotions, etc.
- Ensures the Chick-fil-A Cow is being leveraged as circumstances permit (mascot, plush cows, etc.)
- Plans and executes ReMARKABLE experiences
- Strategically plans, implements, and tracks outside sales
- Ensures POP is displayed properly and promptly, and that all marketing materials are to brand standards including Visual Identify Standards
- Oversees all social media platforms
- Responsible for growing transaction counts, check averages, & outside sales on a monthly basis
Measuring Success:
- Provides written annual marketing plan
- Creates Return on Investment report of each promotion/event, to ensure critical analysis of the guest and team experience, plus opportunities for growth moving forward
- Conducts full marketing team meeting monthly with Assistant Marketing Director, Catering Coordinator and/or applicable team members
- Annual goals for transaction count, check average, and outside sales are being met
- ADP and event frequency goal & mobile percent of sales goals are being met
