As a Manager Trainee, you are on your way to be a Shift Lead. The role is part-time and will require both opening (6a-3p) and closing (3p-11p) and weekend availability. We are a growing organization and there is an excellent opportunity for advancement.

Responsibilities:
- Assists in managing a staff of approximately 20 employees, including hiring, training, evaluating and discipline.
- Forecasts daily usage of food items per shift, which requires some fundamental math skills.
- Performs daily duties, including slicing meats, prepping veggies and baking bread.
- Implement and audit Jimmy John’s policies, systems and procedures.
- Completes necessary paperwork on a daily, weekly and periodic basis.
- Manages cash drawers, bank deposits and change.
- Participate in marketing and promotional activities.
- Oversees and assists in providing great customer service to all.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have good communication skills, both with customers as well as staff.
- Needs strong math ability, particularly in addition, subtraction, fractions and percentages.
- Experience with basic usage of a personal computer.
- High School Graduate or GED.
- Valid Drivers License and Insurance.
- Reliable Transportation.
- Some restaurant experience preferred.
