At Statler Logistics, a trusted Contractor for FedEx Ground, we are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Manager to maintain our fleet of 30 vehicles. Fleet consists of Ford E350 Cutaway Box Trucks, E450 Cutaway Box Trucks and Step Vans, F59 Step Vans, Chevy Silverado 3500 Box Trucks, and International MT45 Step Vans.
Job Description:
Fleet Manager will maintain all aspects of fleet readiness and manage a small auto shop.
Position requires maintenance planning to accomplish regular monthly oil changes, and vehicle inspections. Perform basic maintenance tasks like break services, fluids changes, tune-ups, etc. along with managing transfer of vehicles to various trusted local mechanic shops for larger more involved repairs. Manager is expected to work a flexible 8 hour day. Required to be at the FedEx Ground terminal Monday-Friday mornings starting at 7:30 AM to ensure fleet readiness to depart at dispatch time (Approximately 9 AM). After dispatch, work schedule can be flexible to accomplish maintenance tasks as needed. Some evening availability will be necessary to accomplish and/or assign to other members of the team, some basic maintenance after trucks return after 5 PM.
Manager needs to be good at keeping records, doing parts purchases, filing work orders, managing projects, and being attentive to driver needs. Mechanic Experience Important, Certifications are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain current registrations and inspections of all vehicles
- Diagnose and repair vehicles or schedule repairs with shops as needed
- Manage monthly maintenance and communicate with the management team
- Provide excellent customer service to delivery drivers
- Ensure fleet readiness before dispatch
Requirements:
- Mechanic Experience
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Must be able to pass the FedEx Ground Background Check
- Must be able to pass TSA background check
- Valid Driver’s License
- Clean driving record
Benefits:
- Salaried Position: $45,000 to $50,000 depending on experience.
