The Back-of-House Manager leads kitchen operations to deliver fast, safe, and great-tasting food every shift. You’ll train and coach the BOH team, uphold food safety standards, and drive consistent execution. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves building strong teams.

General Back of House Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards
- Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep
- Stock kitchen inventory as needed
- Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times
- Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A
- Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership
- Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes
- Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
- Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
- Other duties as assigned
Back of House Manager Responsibilities:
• Ensure team members are executing training and operating standards • Ensure team members are meeting food safety standards
• Promote and encourage a culture of food safety
• Ensure all systems are executed efficiently and with excellence
• Ensure all food is served at top quality levels
• Create a culture of speed and hustle
• Complete team member scorecards
• Consistently coach team members and provide appropriate feedback • Hold team members accountable to the standard code of conduct and handbook policies
Shift management
○ Running team member breaks
○ Adjusting lineups as needed
○ Completing daily checklists
○ Team member accountability
○ Opening and/or closing the restaurant properly
• Maintain and promote a high level of cleanliness and organization • Promote and encourage the growth and development of all team members
• Assist the Director in the management of labor
• Assist the Director in the control of food cost
• Assist the Director in the overall vision of the kitchen daypart
Qualifications and Requirements:
• 1-2 years of BOH/kitchen leadership experience (restaurant or hospitality)
• Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen systems
• Proven ability to train, coach, and hold teams accountable
• Calm, positive leader who brings urgency without chaos
• Dependable, organized, and committed to high standards
• Comfortable working hands-on in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Availability Requirements:
- Full-Time Managers ($15 - $22) must be available 6 days and 35 hours a week minimum availability
- Would need to be available during the hours of 10 AM - 9 PM
