At Chick-fil-A Denham Springs, we lead with love, serve with purpose, and impact our team and community. Our overnight operations team plays a vital role in ensuring that every morning starts with excellence by maintaining our restaurant’s cleanliness, safety, and readiness for the next day.
We’re looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join our Overnight Operations Team. This position supports the restaurant by completing end-of-day closing duties, detailed cleaning, light maintenance, and food prep tasks. The ideal candidate is motivated, self-disciplined, and takes pride in keeping our kitchen and facilities spotless.
Responsibilities
- Complete nightly closing tasks following Chick-fil-A standards.
- Perform detailed cleaning of kitchen equipment, floors, and dining areas.
- Rotate, filet, and prep chicken and other food items to food-safety standards.
- Re-stock and organize supplies for the next day’s operations.
- Conduct light maintenance.
- Accurately complete cleaning and maintenance checklists.
- Communicate with leadership regarding any maintenance or safety concerns.
Requirements
- Overnight availability (9pm-5am)
- Dependable, trustworthy, and able to work independently.
- Attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
- Previous kitchen, janitorial, or maintenance experience preferred (not required).
- ServSafe or Chick-fil-A Food Safety Certification preferred (can be obtained after hire).
