At Chick-fil-A Covington – Highway 21, we are seeking a Coordinator who brings strong leadership, organization, and coaching skills to oversee daily restaurant operations while also supporting the execution of team member training.
This is a hands-on operational leadership role with training administration responsibilities.
About the Role
As a Coordinator, you are a restaurant leader responsible for:
- Leading daily Front of House and Kitchen operations
- Upholding food safety, quality, cleanliness, and service standards
- Modeling and reinforcing a 2nd Mile Service hospitality mindset
- Supporting the execution of structured training programs across the restaurant
You will work directly with team members on the floor while ensuring training systems are executed consistently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Oversee daily FOH and Kitchen operations to ensure excellence in execution
- Uphold Chick-fil-A quality, food safety, and cleanliness standards
- Lead team members in a loud, fast-paced, and high-energy environment
- Own a specific operational area and remain accountable to assigned KRAs
Training Oversight
- Serve as the expert on restaurant training plans across all areas
- Lead introduction training for new team members
- Support team members as they progress through structured training plans
- Hold operational leaders accountable for weekly training execution
- Monitor training progress and address gaps or challenges
- Partner with Certified Trainers to ensure consistent training delivery
- Own and lead the Certified Trainer team
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years education/teaching experience
- Strong communication and coaching skills
- Ability to lead with emotional intelligence in stressful situations
- Comfortable standing and working on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperatures
- Effective in loud environments
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 years leadership experience
- Certifications: SERV Safe certified, willing to obtain
The training Coordinator also oversees the execution and management of all training within the restaurant.
Training Responsibilities:
- Be the expert on restaurant training plans for all areas of the restaurant.
- Provide guidance and support to team members navigating the training process.
- Lead introduction training courses for new team members and adjust training based on business needs
- Holds operational leaders accountable for training plans executed each week and maintains a system for accountability.
- Monitor team members' progress in training programs and address any challenges.
- Ensure training checklists align with organizational standards and facilitate comprehensive learning.
- Collaborate with Certified Trainers to enhance the effectiveness of training programs.
- Own Certified trainer team and ensure Certified Trainer Team in executing training sessions
