FST Trailer Center, a component of FS Transportation is looking for skilled commercial trailer technicians to serve the mechanical needs of our company transportation equipment, customers' trailers, forklifts, and clamp trucks. Technicians are responsible for all areas of transportation equipment maintenance - diagnosis, repair, adjustment, and component modification. Technicians will also perform DOT trailer inspections for company and customer trailers. Safety training as well as training on company / shop policies is provided and apprentice level applicants are welcome to apply. Current openings on 2nd shift from 2pm - 10:30pm and 3rd shift from 10pm - 6:30am. Competitive pay is offered, as well as benefits and family friendly company activities.
Job Outline:
- Service trailers, forklifts, clamp trucks
- All areas of equipment maintenance - diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify components

Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in mechanics or equivalent work experience preferred
- Applicant having mechanical aptitude but without experience could be brought on at apprentice level
- All diagnostic and repair procedures must be followed for complete, correct completion of all jobs
- Applicant must be capable of regularly lifting / moving up to 50 lbs and occasionally lifting/ moving up to 100 lbs
- Applicant must be able to follow all safety policies and procedures of the company
