Skills and Competencies
Proficient in operating forklifts safely and efficiently
Demonstrated ability to review order forms, verify order
accuracy, and scan and transport correct materials while actively operating a
forklift in a production environment.
Ability to handle large, bulky, and fragile unpalletized corrugated
materials
Able to safely drive a forklift backwards with large,
unpalletized loads in tight spaces for most of the shift
Experience using a forklift with roll clamps (claws) to move
large paper rolls safely is a plus.
Knowledge of warehouse layout, storage systems, and material
flow
Basic inventory handling and documentation skills
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to follow safety procedures and standard operating
instructions
Knowledge Requirements
Understanding of occupational health and safety regulations
Knowledge of load limits, stacking procedures, and material
handling best practices
Familiarity with manufacturing production flow and finished
goods handling
Physical Requirements
Physically fit and able to lift, stack, and maneuver
materials
Ability to stand, bend, and operate machinery for extended
periods
Good hand–eye coordination and depth perception
