Five Star Sheets is looking for a Maintenance Clerk to help keep our operation running smoothly. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting our maintenance team by coordinating repairs, managing parts inventory, tracking preventive maintenance, and ensuring the accuracy of records and work orders.

What You’ll Do
- Maintain and track daily Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) checklists and ensure any needed repairs are promptly addressed.
- Keep the maintenance work order system organized—entering, scheduling, and closing out jobs as needed.
- Monitor and maintain the spare parts inventory, including labeling, restocking, and managing reorder points.
- Maintain the maintenance budget spreadsheet and assist in cost tracking and reporting.
- Support preventive maintenance programs by updating checklists, schedules, and ensuring follow-through on any findings.
- Communicate with vendors and contractors, schedule service, and maintain up-to-date Certificates of Insurance (COI) and MSDS files.
- Prepare purchase orders, negotiate prices, and track orders to ensure timely delivery of supplies and parts.
- Keep meeting minutes, records, and files up to date and organized.
- Support maintenance personnel and supervisors with administrative and coordination tasks as needed.
What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or administrative coursework preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in maintenance support, inventory control, or an administrative role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong computer skills—especially Excel and CMMS or maintenance tracking software.
- Excellent organization, communication, and multitasking skills.
- A proactive mindset and commitment to keeping things running efficiently and safely.
