The Activities Coordinator is a talented and motivated professional in the hospitality and event industry who organizes outstanding and unforgettable events. They are responsible for every aspect of the event by creating written contracts and handling deposits, set up, execution and clean up. Qualifications

• Previous experience in event planning or hospitality    
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail       
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills    
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment   
• Proficiency in time management to meet deadlines effectively 
• Familiarity with catering and banquet services is beneficial 
• Weekend availability

Duties and Responsibilities       

• Actively solicit business, form partnerships with local businesses, and field client inquiries
• Plan and oversee events and programs at Folino Estate, and both Vintner’s Table locations
• Maintain a calendar of activities and effectively communicate it to staff members and participants     
• Post a monthly calendar of events   
• Responsible for organizing and overseeing the daily operations of events
• Ensure efficient management of supplies and expenses    
• Create and document contracts that adhere to Folino Estate standards
• Execute the event from planning, set-up, client arrival, and execution
• Brainstorm new ideas for events that would be popular among clients

Key Performance Indicators

• Return guests from one event to the next

Environmental/Physical Requirements

• Able to work ten-hour-plus shifts, with extended standing/walking     
• Capable of lifting materials and/or products up to 50 pounds or more

Salary

$40,000/year + commission
