Rate of pay$17 - 22 per hour

The butcher is responsible for the day-to-day, safe, and sanitary fabrication of meat, fish, and poultry. General duties include working with the purchaser on a daily basis, working as a member of the sous chef team, and maintaining awareness at all times.

Communicate with purchase or reservations, projections, chef, and sous chef team for weekend amounts and counts.


Assist purchaser with ordering and receiving. Communicate on all specials and specialty products ordering and fabrication with a sous chef team.


Prepare and deliver to the sous chef team a daily report of all activity and products.


Butcher needs to demonstrate leadership skills, and a willingness to work with others to achieve job description objectives, as well as to further team atmosphere in the kitchen.
