General:
o Is responsible for prep in all aspects associated with the pastry department at Cypress
Social, Petit & Keet and PK Catering @ Cypress Social, and reports directly to the Pastry
Sous Chef, Executive Pastry Chef, Executive Chef, General manager & Assistant General
Manager. This includes but is not limited to the following:
o Dessert standards, quality, and consistency
o Ensures the station and surrounding areas are sanitized and clean in
accordance with company standards and health code regulations
o Responsible for general kitchen organization, product rotation, and
routine maintenance.
o Communicates any necessary repairs for kitchen equipment and
appliances.
o Maintains standards of desserts set forth by the Pastry Sous Chef,
Executive Pastry Chef, and Executive Chef
o Flexible working hours, including holidays, weekends and evenings, when
necessary.
o Capable of working in a fast-paced, production environment.
Daily Shift Responsibilities:
o Ensures the pastry department is operating at it’s optimal efficiency level.
o Performs any role necessary to ensure we maintain our standards of service.
o Follows recipes and procedures set forth by Pastry Sous Chef and Executive Pastry Chef.
o Executing pastry orders for catered events and accommodating special requests.
o Keeping records relating to deliveries, dessert transfers, and production levels.
