Your Role: The Back of House Manager ensures consistent execution of daily operations by leading shifts, coaching team members, and upholding Chick-fil-A’s standards of excellence. This role leads people and systems to create a smooth, guest-focused experience, while supporting team development and accountability. Focused on real-time leadership and operational consistency, the Back of House Manager helps drive short-term success and long-term growth in alignment with the mission and values of the Colleyville Blvd. & Main Chick-fil-A.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Directly lead and supervise all BOH operations with a focus on food safety, food quality, speed of service, guest experience, and team member experience.
  • Execute and coach key food safety practices including Safe Daily Criticals, eRQAs, and temperature checks.
  • Serve as the primary supervisor for team leaders, providing coaching and support to execute all operational objectives and requirements.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of kitchen, storage, and prep areas.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify and resolve operational challenges.
  • Train and coach BOH team members through real-time feedback and accountability.
  • Manage inventory processes: truck orders, waste tracking, and prep forecasting.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting. Chick-fil-A leadership experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional guest service abilities with a genuine desire to serve others.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Availability to work various shifts, including evenings and Saturdays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college or degree preferred.
