Server – O’Brien’s Irish Pub & Grill

O’Brien’s Irish Pub & Grill is looking for friendly, dependable, and energetic Servers to join our team. We are looking for people who enjoy working with guests, can thrive in a fast-paced environment, and understand that great service is about more than simply taking an order.

Position Summary

Servers are responsible for providing friendly, accurate, and efficient service while creating a welcoming experience for every guest. Our servers work as part of a team and are expected to help maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall atmosphere of the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Maintain knowledge of our menu, daily specials, promotions, and beverage offerings.
• Check on guests throughout their visit and respond quickly to requests or concerns.
• Deliver food and beverages accurately and in a timely manner.
• Process guest payments and handle cash and credit card transactions responsibly.
• Complete opening, running, and closing side work.
• Maintain clean and organized tables, server stations, and guest areas.
• Pre-bus and reset tables throughout the shift.
• Work closely with bartenders, kitchen staff, hosts, management, and fellow servers.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol-service policies.
• Help other team members when needed. Teamwork is an important part of working at O’Brien’s.
• Maintain a professional and positive attitude, even during high-volume periods.

Physical Requirements

This position requires prolonged standing and walking, frequent bending and reaching, and the ability to safely carry trays, food, beverages, and other restaurant items throughout the shift.
