Position Summary
The Annuals & Flowers Supervisor leads seasonal flower and annual installations while working hands-on with the crew. This role is primarily field-based, with limited office responsibilities. The position is seasonal, with a winter layoff period and snow participation as needed.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Ensure quality, safety, and efficiency standards are met on all job sites
- Supervise and work alongside a crew of approximately 4-8 employees installing and maintaining annuals and flowers
- Order plant material from nurseries and maintain accurate inventory
- Plan daily work activities and communicate progress, needs, and issues to management
- Train crew members on proper planting techniques, equipment use, and safety procedures
- Participate in snow operations during winter months as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience in landscaping, horticulture, or seasonal color installation preferred
- Previous crew lead or supervisory experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Ability to perform physical labor outdoors and lift up to 50 lbs
