Detail Overview of Responsibilities:
● Conduct regular maintenance on machinery, systems and vehicles
● Assemble mechanical components according to specifications
● Examine equipment and perform diagnostics tests
● Create a maintenance schedule for all equipment
● Maintain information logs on miles, run times and services
● Monitor inventory levels of consumables and parts
● Help with transitioning equipment from regular to winter components such as plows and liquid tanks
● Seasonal on-call snow removal and needed
Desired Skill Set:
● Previous experience with heavy equipment, diesel and hydraulic equipment
● In-depth knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems
● Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem solving
● Experienced with the use of welders, torches and metal fabrication equipment
● Computer savvy with experience in Microsoft Office
● Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
● Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Work Conditions:
● Ability to work independently for 8+ hours daily
● Capable of lifting 50lbs occasionally throughout the day
● Able to work with different makes and models of heavy machinery
● Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors depending on job needs
● Capable of working in tight spaces and awkward positions
