The Snow Plow Driver at Cutting Edge plays a vital role in supporting snow removal operations by maintaining commercial properties during the upcoming winter season. This is an on-call position, meaning work hours will vary depending on weather conditions and workload. The ideal candidate is someone who has a valid driver's license with prior experience, is someone that pays attention to detail and can be counted on.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a snow plow equipped with ice melt liquid tanks
- Complete required paperwork
- Perform pre-trip inspection on work truck and equipment
- Remove snow in drive lanes and parking stalls
- Assist with snow removal, site cleanup, and other winter-related tasks
- Operate equipment safely (training provided)
- Follow directions and work efficiently with the team
- Maintain safety standards on all job sites
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be available on short notice during snow events
- Ability to work outdoors in cold weather conditions
- Dependable and punctual
- Must have reliable transportation to and from our shop
