Cook – Join Our Neighborhood Kitchen Team
Position Overview:
We’re looking for reliable, experienced culinary cooks to join our West End Grill team - "The WEG!"

Available Shifts:
- Currently Mainly Weekends PM to Late Night - Friday, Saturday & Sunday
- Lunch Saturday & Brunch Sunday
- We are traditionally closed several holidays throughout the year.
What You’ll Do:
- Safely Prepare & Store food in a Safe Clean Kitchen
- Prepare a variety of traditional WEG dishes from scratch i.e. Country Fried Steak, Chef Charles' Meatloaf, Mississippi Pot Roast, Wings, Fresh Fish & Salads along with variety of daily features.
- Set up and organize kitchen workstations before service
- Prepare fresh ingredients using a variety of techniques
- Cook menu items with consistency, care, and attention to detail
- Plate and present dishes in an appealing and appetizing way
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and well-organized kitchen at all times
- Monitor ingredient quality and ensure proper food handling
- Assist with inventory, food storage, and stock management
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operation
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant setting
- Strong understanding of cooking methods and kitchen equipment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Excellent organization and time-management skills
- Ability to multitask and perform efficiently under pressure
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
- Dependable transportation
- High school diploma required; culinary training is a plus
