Nurse Supervisor (LVN or RN)

Rate of pay$38 - 55 per hour

Nursing Supervisor - PM and NOC Shift

Position Summary:

Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility.

Qualifications:

  • Current, California nursing license in good standing
  • Current valid CPR certification required
  • One year staff nurse and three years of management experience in an acute care facility
  • Nursing degree or graduation from an accredited college or approved LVN or RN program

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an acceptable standard of nursing practice and professional decorum
  • Be courteous, considerate, and cooperative when communicating with all facility staff, residents, and public
  • Knowledge of Federal and State Regulations governing long-term care nursing facilities
  • Knowledge and implementation of the facility’s policies and procedures
  • Direct and assist Licensed Nurses in clinical performances areas
  • Perform the function and responsibilities of a Charge Nurse as assigned
  • React appropriately to emergencies and disaster situations
  • Complete accident/incident reports as necessary
  • Notify the Administrator and/or Director of Nursing of any serious situation
  • Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required
