Back of House Shift Leaders In Training are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping Team Members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence. They are stewards of the vision, mission and core values of Chick-fil-A Kamokila. This position will start as a Full-Time Team Member on a fast track training program to Shift Leader.

Responsibilities:
- Create a culture of service and deep care for Team Members and Guests - leading to a remarkable experience for all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A
- Responsible for closing shifts
- Oversee Team Members on shift to ensure store is meeting goals
- Complete daily set-ups and checklists
- Responsible for assigning Team Members to positions, establishing and delegating priorities, and scheduling breaks
- Find ways for self and team to be productive during non-peak times
- Provide effective operational coaching to Team Members in timely manner
- Create culture of continuous improvement
- Provide support to leadership team
- Performs all tasks as Team Members as needed throughout the shift including but not limited to prep, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently
- Knowledgable of all assignments for all stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep
- Stock inventory as needed and communicate with leadership on inventory needs
- Have active presence on the floor to lead by example and coach in real-time
- Close the restaurant 5x/week to include Fridays and Saturdays
Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- Availability to work nights and weekends
- Ability to work 32+ hours/week
- 1 - 2 years of experience working in a fast-food or quick service restaurant
- Ability to take initiative and possess skills for problem solving
- Competency in use of digital messaging and organizational management tools and platforms
- 30-90 days in training program before moving to Shift Leader
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 - 2 years of experience in leadership role, preferably in a fast-food or quick-service restaurant setting
- Previous experience in leadership role at Chick-fil-A
- A heart for servant leadership and people development
