Crumbl cookies is known for bringing family and friends together over the world’s best box of cookies and we’re looking for a full-time manager to help achieve that goal! The manager will be the first point of contact at the store and responsible for managing the store processes, facilitating a positive store culture, and training the store shift leads. The ideal candidate has experience managing and training people in a professional/food service setting. Qualifications (includes, but not limited to):
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills, results oriented and customer service focused
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and manage a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Flexibility to work 40-50 hours per week, rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Valid driver’s license & access to private transportation
- HS diploma minimum & possess all employment documentation required by state and federal law
- Prior food service experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Train & Manage store leaders (assistant managers/shift leads)
- Train new leaders on cookie processes; demonstrate management skills
- Facilitate regular training/development of existing leaders on an individual level
- Create an environment of clear communication
- Discuss shift-specific issues with shift leads and train to resolve
- Manage Store Culture
- Facilitate new employee training (notify shift leads of new hires, ensure training is consistent)
- Work in store at various times rather than set schedule (minimum 1 night closing shift/3 Saturday shifts)
- Ensure that the work environment is safe, secure, and healthy for all employees
- Create measurable benchmarks and goals to maintain and improve store environment
- Clearly communicate expectations and hold team accountable
- Implement Store Processes
- Manage inventory ordering with owner, able to independently local source ingredients when needed
- Identify areas to increase store efficiency and create new processes
- Manage weekly schedule and review submitted employee time
- Handle cash in store (bank deposits, cash tips, record keeping)
- Coordinate catering
- Facilitate any store-specific marketing initiatives
- Monitor cookie quality and communicate changes needed
- Ensure store is up-kept to health code standards and inspection notes are implemented
- Communicate with corporate on quality controls and store benchmarks
- Maintain store selling benchmark statistics and meet performance metrics
- Ensure cookie quality and food safety is elite
