Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Talent Development
- Lead daily shifts with clarity, energy, and purpose
- Provide real-time feedback and direction to FOH team members
- Delegate tasks effectively to create a smooth and efficient flow
- Recognize and celebrate strong performance
- Address performance issues and support improvement efforts
- Coach and support emerging leaders on the team
- Keep team members informed and aligned with shift goals and updates
- Model and uphold Chick-fil-A’s core values and service standards
Customer Experience
- Create a warm, welcoming environment for every guest
- Resolve guest concerns quickly and graciously
- Support team in delivering accurate, timely, and friendly service
- Monitor dining room cleanliness and guest satisfaction throughout the shift
- Help guests with mobile orders and special requests
- Maintain strong communication with Back of House leaders to ensure smooth coordination
Operational Excellence
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized FOH environment
- Execute opening/closing procedures and ensure all checklists are completed
- Monitor FOH inventory levels and communicate needs proactively
- Oversee catering, delivery, and mobile orders during shifts
- Enforce safety, food quality, and cleanliness standards
- Ensure compliance with all cash handling procedures
- Report and help resolve any discrepancies
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with other Shift Leaders and Managers to ensure smooth operations
- Support transitions between shifts with clear communication and teamwork
- Build strong working relationships across FOH and BOH teams
- Attend leadership meetings and trainings as required
Qualifications & Requirements
- A passion for serving others and helping people grow
- Leadership experience in a customer-facing environment (preferred)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Team-first mindset with a proactive attitude
- Must be able to lift 20–30 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Committed to Chick-fil-A dress code and standards
- Availability to work peak hours, including early mornings, evenings, or Saturdays
