Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, timely, and courteous service to guests at the counter and throughout the restaurant
- Know the menu, wines, beers, and cocktails to make helpful recommendations
- Follow company policies, including sanitation, dress code, and service guidelines
- Take and deliver beverage orders accurately, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
- Assist fellow team members to ensure outstanding guest experiences
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and perform side work as required
- Adhere to alcohol awareness procedures and promptly notify management of any concerns
- Welcome and thank guests warmly, inviting them to return
Qualifications & Skills
- 6 months to 2 years related experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Alcohol Certification and Food Handler’s Certificate required
- Strong verbal communication and basic math skills
- Ability to operate a point-of-sale system and handle money accurately
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift and lift up to 50 lbs
- Positive, cooperative attitude with excellent guest service focus
