Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, timely “Guest First” service, making guests the center of your attention
- Know and follow your posted schedule with punctuality and professionalism
- Master menu items, wines, beers, and cocktails to confidently answer guest questions and make recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and adhere to sanitation standards
- Follow company policies, steps of service, and alcohol awareness procedures
- Take and deliver accurate food and beverage orders using the point-of-sale system
- Assist fellow team members to ensure cooperative and seamless guest service
- Handle payments accurately, including cash, credit cards, coupons, and gift cards
- Participate in clearing and resetting dining tables and perform side work throughout your shift
- Attend company meetings and training sessions to stay updated and improve skills
Qualifications & Skills
- 6 months to 2 years of related bartending experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Required Alcohol Certification and Food Handler’s Certificate as applicable
- Strong verbal communication and basic math skills
- Ability to see, hear, read, and write in English
- Capable of managing workflow and resolving issues with supervisor support
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk throughout entire shifts in a restaurant environment
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Frequent use of hands to operate equipment and communicate effectively
