Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, organized dishroom and kitchen equipment area
- Wash and sanitize tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment by hand and machine
- Follow strict adherence to schedules, uniform, and grooming policies
- Comply with company, state, and county sanitation standards
- Assist other team members with cleaning and kitchen tasks as needed
- Perform janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning bathrooms and windows
- Attend company meetings and training seminars
Qualifications
- 6 months to 2 years of related experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Food Handler’s Certificate as required
- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to follow directions
- Capable of safely using kitchen tools and equipment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk throughout entire shifts in a restaurant environment
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in conditions with wet floors, noise, steam, and hot water
