Position Summary

Genesis Farms is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Non-CDL Semi Flatbed Delivery Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for delivering sod to residential, commercial, and landscaping customers while providing excellent customer service and representing Genesis Farms professionally.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating a 10-speed manual transmission semi-truck that does not require a CDL, loading and unloading sod pallets with a Princeton Piggy Back forklift (training provided), and ensuring all loads are properly secured for safe transportation.

Essential Responsibilities

• Safely operate a non-CDL semi flatbed truck with a 10-speed manual transmission
• Load and unload sod pallets using a Princeton Piggy Back forklift (company-provided training)
• Properly strap and secure all loads before transport
• Deliver sod safely and on schedule to residential, commercial, and landscaping customers
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Follow all company safety policies and applicable transportation regulations
• Maintain delivery paperwork and daily logs as required
• Provide professional and courteous customer service at each delivery
• Assist with general yard, warehouse, or production duties as needed
• Keep trucks and equipment clean and in good working condition

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Experience operating a 10-speed manual transmission preferred
• Previous commercial driving experience preferred
• Ability to safely operate delivery equipment and follow safe loading procedures
• Forklift experience is a plus, but training will be provided for the Princeton Piggy Back forklift
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds
• Climb on and off trucks and equipment throughout the day
• Secure loads using straps and tie-down equipment
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to stand, bend, walk, and perform physical labor throughout the workday
