Front of House Manager (Full Time)

At Chick-fil-A Miami Shores, the Front of House (FOH) Manager role is more than just a job; it's an opportunity! In addition to working directly for an independent Owner/Operator, Managers gain leadership experience that goes far beyond serving a great product in a friendly environment. Managers are responsible for leading their teams to provide exceptional dining experiences for everyone they serve each day and for ensuring all guests receive signature Chick-fil-A service and food. His or her area of responsibility will primarily focus on the front counter, dining room, and mobile service areas including curbside delivery and third party driver pickup.


Position Type:

  • Full-time (30+ hours per week)

Compensation:

  • $20 an hour
  • Earn a $0.25 raise per quarter
  • Within 3 months of opening, 1 Manager will be promoted to Director ($25 an hour) based on performance, leadership and problem-solving ability

Front of House Manager Responsibilities:

  • Assist in hiring new team members
  • Set team goals, work towards accomplishing them and celebrate the wins
  • Develop and grow the team's capabilities through intentional coaching
  • Hold the team accountable to all standards and lead by example
  • Provide feedback and encouragement often
  • Lead meetings with Shift Leaders and Team Leaders
  • Represent the FOH at Director level meetings
  • Schedule shifts for assigned team
  • Confirm checklists are being completed to standard
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Ensure disciplinary action is given fairly and consistently
  • Assess current systems and implement ideas for improvement
  • Assist with cash management and catering operations
  • Respond to guest inquiries and problems
  • Be very competent helping guests use the mobile app
  • Other duties as assigned

Also, be able to lead and support your team with their responsibilities referenced below:

  • Welcome and greet guests
  • Take orders at the cash register
  • Assemble and bag meals for dine in and carry out guests
  • Expedite third party orders for delivery driver pickup
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned area
  • Deliver meals to curbside guests in the parking lot
  • Prepare drinks, ice cream treats and milkshakes
  • Manage cash for assigned till
  • Restock inventory and order supplies
  • Assist guests with mobile app orders
  • Help prepare catering orders
  • Other duties as assigned
