Church’s Guest Services/Cook
Reports To: Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Hourly
Role Type: Full-time

Job Summary: The Guest Service/Cook delivers fast, friendly, and accurate service while preparing high-quality food in accordance with Church’s Operating Standards Manual (OSM). This role focuses on exceptional guest satisfaction, food safety, cleanliness, and teamwork while ensuring operational efficiency in both front-of-house and kitchen areas.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet all guests warmly with a positive, enthusiastic, and welcoming attitude
- Take, prepare, and serve customer orders accurately within company-mandated service times
- Suggestively upsell menu items and promotions as directed by management
- Handle cash transactions and deliver completed orders to guests
- Address guest concerns promptly and notify the Manager in Charge as needed
- Report order errors, over-rings, deletions, or equipment issues immediately
- Prepare and cook food products according to Church’s quality, safety, and holding time standards
- Set up batter station, prepare batter mix, and organize required smallwares
- Monitor food rotation, product display, and holding times to ensure freshness and quality
- Operate, filter, clean, and maintain fryers while following all safety procedures
- Stock service areas with supplies such as cups, lids, napkins, and beverages
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and display cases at all times
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support restaurant operations

Job Summary: The Shift Leader serves as the on-duty restaurant leader, ensuring team members are properly trained, supported, and motivated to deliver outstanding guest service. This role oversees shift operations, food quality, safety, and cleanliness while enforcing company policies and leading by example.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise shift operations to ensure prompt, friendly, and courteous guest service

- Coach and train team members by demonstrating proper service and food preparation procedures
- Assist team members during peak periods to maintain service speed and quality

Job Summary: As a Restaurant Manager, you will be a valuable member of the team. You will support the restaurant in driving the success of the business. The Restaurant Manager takes ownership and responsibility for solving problems; seeks help from others when appropriate; and is willing to provide help and guidance to others.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure our customers have great guest experience, by ensuring our products are hot, fresh and delicious.
• Manage and develop employees in the restaurant and ensure they are clean and neat in appearance.
• Ensures cleanliness of the property (restrooms, floors, coolers, kitchen, front counter, back-office, dining area, fountain area, sidewalk entrance etc.)
• Ensures all employees are upholding strict food safety standards.
• Navigate customer complaints with grace and escalate complaints as necessary to the District Manager, QSR if unresolved.
• Ensure perishable products are properly rotated and stored to maintain freshness, avoid cross-contamination, and minimize spoilage.
• Actively recruit, interview, and staff store with the required number of employees to operate at budgeted hours without overtime or over-budget exceptions.
• Responsible for controlling inventory to maintain inventory shortage performance (at less than 1.0% short to merchandise sales).
• Compiles, inputs, reconciles, and balances each component of the daily close-out paperwork as well as completes end-of-the-day accounting by 8:00 am. Conduct cash audit weekly.
• Strictly follow and enforce the Vendor Check In policy and personally count all merchandise received into the store.
• Adhere to the Company’s established policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
